WHAT IS CROS?

CROS is a tool designed to help users quickly locate essential resources such as food, water, and fuel. It stands for commercial resource optimization system. By simply entering your current resource requirements and location, CROS provides clear directions to the nearest locations that can fulfill all your needs. Whether you're on the move or planning ahead, CROS streamlines the process, ensuring you find what you're looking for efficiently.

HOW TO NAVIGATE CROS

  1. To find the nearest site with access to resources, click on the map tab.
  2. On the left side, enter the details for the resources required according to the measurements provided (meals in quantity, water in liters, and fuel in gallons). Add waypoints if necessary and a final destination.
  3. To add more than one waypoint in the journey, click on the orange button that says *add a waypoint*.
  4. Once all the details have been entered, click the orange submit button at the bottom of the details box.
    NOTE: The submit button will be functional only if all the necessary details of requirements are provided.
  5. The system then provides the closest locations where the resources are available. The directions to the locations can be found by zooming into the map or scrolling down to the end of the webpage.
  6. The route information gives details of the whole journey, like the distance covered and the estimated resources available at the end of the journey after visiting every waypoint.
  7. The waypoints can be found in a box at the bottom left corner with the name of the location and the resources available there.
  8. User information and account details can be found by clicking the user tab at the top right corner.
  9. To log out of the application, go to the user tab and click the log out button.
